PETER SCHROTH

Peter Schroth received his BFA from Syracuse University and his MFA from the University of Colorado. He is the recipient of numerous awards including two Fellowship Grants from the Pollock Krasner Foundation, a Grant of Support from the Elizabeth Foundation, and an Individual Artist Grant from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. He has also received residency fellowships from MacDowell Colony, Millay Colony, Ballinglen Arts Foundation and Yaddo.

Schroth has taught at the School of the visual Arts, University of South Florida, Savannah College of Art and Design and is currently Senior Visiting Faculty at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He also taught at 92Y from 1991-2004 and at the Cooper Union Continuing Education Program from 1994-2005.

Mr. Schroth lives and works in Brooklyn and is represented by Sears Peyton Gallery, NYC.
